Pelvic tumor

Got a patient admitted with unilateral swelling of the left leg. Saw a vacular sugeon and was found to have a pelvic tumor with invasion into the ureters causing bilateral hydronephrosis.
The surgeon wanted to operate on her!!!!! Saw his skill before, and i know he cannot do the job. What has this world come to? Greed. Not the welfare of the patient first but the doctor's welfare first.
Told the patient to get out of the hospital to seek second opinion.
Man, how am i going to trust people anymore??

TB the saga continues

Man, whole family and office members came for CXR. All worried about PTB. Panicked????

90 year old

The 90 year old died hours after i saw her at her home. Good for her to leave this cruel world. Never expected her to go so fast. Thought she might last for another 3 to 4 days.......i.e. to continue the sufferings in this world for yet another hours.
May the lady rest in peace.

TB

Whole family panicked once an Indonesian maid was diagnosed to have PTB. The maid just had her yearly check done one month ago by one of the nearby clinics.
Too bad, one of the girls nearly cried upon hearing the news.

Balls

Saw 2 balls in a row. One like mango size and one looks like a bag of worms.
First one went to see Urologist......was told his ball on the left side got to go. The patient nearly fainted as according to the urologist. Then came the next one, told him the first scenario, scared him like shit. Decided to comply with whatever treatment given.
The moral of the story here is: Do not wait until the whole thing becomes balloon up, it will burst for sure and it will burst big time.

Kristal

Damn! Strong grip did not work! Shots all pulled to the left. Iron distance improves tremendously........6 iron at 160-170 yards.

Kids

Got 2 beautiful kids, Emily and Adrian. They are goint to their auntie's house today during this school holidays. 8am, heard their footsteps upstairs running up and down, they sounded exciting.
Emily came to me yesterday telling me she has been having this cough for some time. She wanted me to listen to her chest. There was nothing obvious heard.

Work

Work has been routine. You get up, u go to work. Work can be interesting at times. So far it has been a rather flat day.

2.15pm
Went to see an old lady of 90 years. She was gasping for air. Having high fever and was stuporous. Her children got absolutely no idea what to do about her except that best is not to go to the hospital. When i told them the chances of coming out alive this episode of illness is about 20:80, i can actually sense the relief in them. That means they do not have to spend anymore money for her treatment, they do not have to spend more time in caring her anymore. When you are 90 years old, u outlived your usefullness. The most important thing for us here is to live life to the fullest and TO GROW OLD WITH DIGNITY!

Golf

Tried too hard in order to improve my swing....
Here's what I have gathered from the range yesterday, it works, but it may not last long.
1. Strong grip, for iron and also for driver.
2. Cock wrist. Release on the way down but try to hold it as long as possible
3. Hit the back of the ball. Try to bury it into the ground.
4. Always the Spanish bull fighter style while turning the waist.
